The company sells its cars within the Nissan, Infiniti, and Datsun brands with in-house performance tuning products labelled Nismo. Taken together, the Renault–Nissan Alliance will be the world’s fourth largest automaker. Nissan would be the leading Japanese brand in China, Russia and Mexico.In 2014 Nissan was the most important car manufacturer in North America.Nissan would be the world's largest electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, with global sales of greater than 320,000 all-electric vehicles at the time of April 2018. The top-selling vehicle in the carmaker's lineup will be the Nissan LEAF, an all-electric car along with the world's top-selling highway-capable plug-in electric car in the past.In January 2018, Nissan CEO Hiroto Saikawa announced that most Infiniti vehicles launched from 2021 will likely be hybrid vehicles or all-electric vehicles.
